Educating end-users about the benefits of new IT systems before rollout can help muster support for new technology and reduce resistance when managing change. Some people just assume every project management process base on their previous experience. Just do what is they did before like as "ballpark".

One of the easiest ways to estimate a “ballpark” figure on a project is to draw the numbers from a previous project of a similar scope. Proceed with caution- often I've had a project manager say " it’s just like X project, but a -z is different". So... you mean, it’s exactly the same, but entirely different? It is human nature to draw comfort from familiarity - this often happens to the project's detriment in the project management process. Before you know it, the orange is an apple because apples are easy to understand, and oranges - well oranges are just different.
